This was pending for a long time..... really wanted to write it sometime..... A friend asked for some info and heres now I abstracted.... More in detail follows.......
1. Tuesday - night 11:30 flight - that started at 3:30 - Nok Airways. I think it does not ply any more!
2. Wed - reached Bangkok at 10:00 - its ~3 hrs ahead of India.
Had to get entry visa, that took arnd 30 mins.
Then took a bus at 11:00 to Pattaya. Reached Pattaya at ~ 2:00.
Checked in at http://www.a-onehotel.com/.
Had lunch rested that afternoon.
Headed to Alcazar show at Pattaya.
Went for a night walk at Pattaya.
Went to a pub called Hard Rock Cafe..... where they played amazing live band music....!!
Tasted beer for the 1st time
3. Thur - Morning 7:30 left for a adventure day.... starting with parasailing
Then under water walking
drove the water scooter
Played in the beach
Got back to hotel
Went to the Pattaya tower thats 550 ft for another adventure time
Went to MiniSiam
Went Go karting
Went to another pub, (where men are in deep trouble, coz the dancers keep brushing on them!)
4. Fri - Went to the Gem factory at Pattaya.
Lunch at an Indian restaurant....
Left to Bangkok
Reached Bangkok at 6:00 having started from Pattaya at 2:00. The traffic was terrible inside Bangkok

Went for dinner to an Indian restaurant
Went out for shopping in the night market.... bot lot of trinkets
Reached at 1 pm that night back at the hotel
5. Sat - Started early to Safari world. The whole day was spent here. (8am - 6pm, I guess)
The shows in the Safari world were good.
The zoo is baddddd! Animals are so badly fed! but for tiger!
It was a nice enjoyable day though
Back in Bangkok city by 7:30. Headed for dinner.
And more shopping..... in the night market (supposed to be lot cheaper!)
6. Sun - Temple tour - Went to the Golden Buddha temple and then reclining Buddha temple
Sun afternoon to night was for us..... We could do anything in Bangkok and reach hotel by 9:00 pm.
I literally dropped dead shopping.....
We had a flight at 12:30 that night.
7. Mon - Reached Bangalore all tired at 5:00 am.
Things we missed:
Spa experience.... We dint have time for this. We were also afraid.... U never know if the woman massaging is a woman or a man!
Foot massage - supposed to be best in the world
Thai food experience - dint try it at all.....!!

Heading North...........
All my life Blore, Chn and Salem are the only places that I have visited and have a good memory of. After spending a lot on fone calls on what was the best bet for a get away after wedding....., we guys settled for Kerala or HP.
While God's own country was still a fave, we thot it was perhaps time to spend a little more effort/money/time and get away as a proper get-away!! We finally settled for a Kulu-Manali trip.
It was my first trip North. My parents claim that they did take us to a North India tour when i was 2 years old - actually they dont even have a proof of it.....!! So i still maintain that this was my 1st trip up North :D.......
My 1st flight trip in life was to Delhi. Better half :) made super-cool arrangements of booking nice Jet Airways flight tickets. On an early Sat morning, being just married that Monday, we set out to Delhi...... all on a journey that seemed quite an adventure...... reason U'll know :D
We reached Delhi arnd 11 am and it seemed quite a hot day to begin with - June time and bestest season to get roasted..... well, we hardly cared abt Delhi, since our goals were higher :)
Our bus was scheduled at 6:00 pm from Janpath I guess! So we chose to take a hotel for that 1/2 day at Karol Bagh, supposedly closer to this place. At 12 noon, hunger was striking us hard and we went out in the cramped Karol Bagh for a proper eat-out.....!! and guess what...... the typical curd-rice hoggers we, to our luck spotted a Saravana Bhavan bang on the road into Karol Bagh.......!! Luck was ours, we had a happy sumptuous meal and headed back to the hotel. He happily slept the entire afternoon and me, the newly wedded bride..... paavam quite haplessly wondering if all of this was real or just a passing dream......
Come 4:00 pm, we were all set out for the bigger destination....... We reached Janpath arnd 5:00 pm and had some waiting time..... He packed up some quick McDonalds burgers..... Hardly enough fort
Seemed like the lunch was not too good on me, I had a rumble tummy and thankfully we found a decent rest room while waiting...... Mannie was good enuff to comfort me and we were up and running by 5:45 to take the bus.
Closer to 6:00, the bus took off...... all packed for a journey that would mark a day!! We traveled across Delhi's roads, sometimes nice, sometimes foreign and sometimes void....... Arnd 8:00 pm, the bus guy put on a Hindi movie - Golmaal I guess......!! Goodness gracious, what a choatic movie..... it literally extracted all the sleep off me and I was already tired out...... Thankfully responsible pathi-dev again comforted me and we were trying throw glances like most newly weds do..... the typical filmi way....... U for me and I for U..... what more??
